Systems and options available

Grade 2 systems

Suited to premises with a lower assessed risk, where an intruder is expected to have limited knowledge of alarm systems.

Grade 3 systems

For higher assessed risk, where an intruder may be familiar with alarm systems and may have equipment to defeat them. The grade is set by a risk assessment of the premises.

Detection devices

Motion detection, dual-technology detectors, door and shutter contacts, vibration and perimeter detection, specified to the building and its contents.

Alarm Receiving Centre monitoring

Signals passed to an accredited Alarm Receiving Centre for response handling around the clock, with optional Garda response subject to the applicable response criteria.

App and keypad control

Setting and unsetting by keypad, fob or smartphone app, with user permissions and event history for multi-user premises.

Frequently asked questions

What is the difference between a Grade 2 and Grade 3 intruder alarm?
The grade reflects the assessed risk of the premises. Grade 2 suits lower risk premises; Grade 3 is specified where an intruder may be familiar with alarm systems and equipped to defeat them. A risk survey determines which applies.
What is an Alarm Receiving Centre?
An accredited monitoring centre that receives alarm signals around the clock and follows the agreed response procedure, contacting keyholders and, where the criteria are met, requesting Garda response.
Does ADS Group provide monitoring?
Yes. Monitored intruder alarm systems are connected to an accredited Alarm Receiving Centre, with the response arrangements agreed with you at commissioning.
Can fire and security systems sit under one maintenance agreement?
Yes. Intruder alarms, CCTV, fire detection, emergency lighting and fire fighting equipment can be covered by a single agreement with one servicing schedule and one accountable contractor.
