Tipperary carries significant dairy and food processing capacity. Washdown areas, dust, steam and temperature swings all shorten detector life and cause false alarms where the detector type was chosen for an office rather than a plant room. The survey reports on detector suitability, not just panel function.
Tipperary has no single dominant urban centre, so an operator with several sites is usually spread across Clonmel, Thurles and Nenagh. Those are scheduled on one route and one contract rather than three separate visits booked separately.
Warehousing along the M7 and M8 brings high-bay storage, where smoke stratifies before reaching a ceiling detector. Detection has to be designed for the height and the racking as it stands today, and re-proven when racking changes.
Visitor attractions and heritage buildings in commercial use frequently cannot take intrusive cabling. Wireless and hybrid detection certifies to the same standard without damaging the fabric.
