Learn moreADS Group covers County Longford, including Longford town, Granard, Edgeworthstown and Ballymahon, for commercial fire detection and alarm systems, emergency lighting, fire fighting equipment, intruder alarms and CCTV. We design, install, commission, certify and maintain to Irish Standards, operate 24/7 emergency callout, and can take over and recertify a system another contractor installed. We hold over 1,300 active maintenance contracts nationally.

Learn moreBallymahon carries large-scale holiday and leisure accommodation. Dispersed sleeping accommodation across many separate units on one site is a demanding detection and evacuation problem, and the cause and effect strategy has to reflect the layout rather than treat it as one building.
Manufacturing in the county brings cleanroom and controlled environments where optical detection fitted by default will nuisance-trip. Detector technology has to be matched to the process area at design stage.
Grain drying, dust and washdown areas shorten detector life and drive false alarms. Heat detection or a different detector technology is often the correct answer, and we report that rather than resetting the panel and leaving.
Longford town carries older commercial buildings in continuous use with systems extended piecemeal over years. Recertification starts with establishing what is actually installed against what the certificate claims.
